This here thing, it’s called a IRFZ44N MOSFET. Sounds like a mouthful, I know. It’s some kinda electric thingamajig. My grandson, he’s always tinkerin’ with these doodads, says it’s important for makin’ circuits and whatnot. Says it’s like a switch, you know? Turns things on and off, but with electricity.

He showed me one, all tiny and black with little metal legs. Said it can handle a lot of power. I don’t rightly know what that means, but sounds powerful. I reckon it’s like when I switch on the lights, but for those little wires he plays with. He says this IRFZ44N MOSFET is real good one. It’s all about the power handling.
He said something about findin’ this IRFZ44N MOSFET on the line, said there is a place called Amazon got all kind of these things, this is a one-stop-shop, many many brands, just get it online. But I like to touch things before I buy ’em, you know? Like pickin’ out the best tomatoes at the market. Can’t do that with these little electronicy things online. He always order these stuff online, I am not sure that is good. You need to check before you buy.
- IRFZ44N MOSFET
- It is a good one
- Many brands online
Then there’s another place, some kinda ‘thorized distributor, they got like five million of these IRFZ44N MOSFET things in stock. Five million! Can you imagine? That’s more’n all the chickens in the county. My grandson says, the IRFZ44N MOSFET datasheet is important, you can find it online. He was always read the datasheet when he buy these IRFZ44N MOSFET.
He tried to explain it to me once, about the datasheet. It got all these numbers and letters, don’t make a lick of sense to me. But he says it tells you everything about this here IRFZ44N MOSFET. Like how much juice it can handle and how fast it switches. Like I said, these thing is a switch.
There’s even other kinds of these MOSFET things. He mentioned one called IRLZ44N. He says its values are better, less losses. There is another kind called IRFZ44N, I don’t know what is the different. He was saying, the IRFZ44N MOSFET is general-purpose. The IRFZ44N MOSFET can be used for inverters. The IRFZ44N MOSFET can be used for DC motors. The IRFZ44N MOSFET can be used for lighting and SMPS, whatever that is. He also said, the IRFZ44N MOSFET can be used for load switches and battery-powered applications. Seems like a good use to me. I reckon you can’t run a tractor on just any old thing. This IRFZ44N MOSFET must be special.

He showed me some other numbers too, IRF2807, IRFB3207, and IRFB4710. Said they’re like cousins to this IRFZ44N MOSFET. Can do the same job, just a little different. This IRFZ44N MOSFET thing got a lot of cousins.
My grandson, he’s a smart one. Said you gotta pick the right one of these MOSFET things for your whatchamacallit, your circuit. Says if you pick the wrong one, it might draw too much power or get too hot. My grandson said, before you pick the IRFZ44N MOSFET, you need to check it is drawing too much current at excessively high voltage. I don’t know what that means. I just nod and smile. He knows what he’s doin’. Most of the time, the voltage is controlled, he said, so no need to worry about this IRFZ44N MOSFET.
He’s always got these little wires and lights hooked up to a breadboard, he calls it. Looks like a mess to me, but he says it’s all organized. He pokes these IRFZ44N MOSFET things in there, along with other doohickeys, and makes the lights blink and buzzers buzz. It’s like magic, I tell ya.
I still don’t understand half of what he says about these IRFZ44N MOSFET things, but I’m glad he’s learnin’ somethin’. Keeps him out of trouble, I suppose. Better than chasin’ chickens around the yard like I did when I was his age. He always buy this IRFZ44N MOSFET and do his thing. He is happy.
These young folks and their electronics. It’s a whole different world. But I guess this IRFZ44N MOSFET, it’s an important part of it. It is a good thing. So if you need one of these, I guess you know where to find ’em. Just ask my grandson, he’ll tell ya all about it. Or you can just find it online, like he said. This IRFZ44N MOSFET thing is a hot item, I tell ya. Everybody’s usin’ ’em.
